Ambrosio recently spoke to Forbes about growing up in Brazil and how it influenced his future entrepreneurial endeavors.

She explained that it was her beach-centric upbringing in Brazil that inspired her to create her own swimwear line, GAL Floripa.

“Coming from Brazil, I grew up in swimsuits, so that’s what I love to do and that’s what I love to create,” she said.

Ambrosio originally launched GAL Floripa alongside his sister Aline and friend Gisele Coria in 2019.

The brand has become popular because it offers a wide range of swimwear ranging from skimpy bikinis to flattering one-piece suits.

Ambrosio told Forbes that she was happy to have her vision realized, while offering advice to other potential entrepreneurs.

She recommended only getting into a business venture “if it satisfies you and if you’re doing something with love and passion.”

“That’s what I think for women or men in business – do something that you believe in and love because life is happening now, so if you don’t take advantage of it now, when will- you enjoy it?”

“Coming from Brazil, I grew up in swimsuits, so that’s what I love to do and that’s what I love to create,” she said.
