Donald Trump posted on Facebook for the first time in two years after being suspended for supporting the Capitol rioters.

“I’m back,” the former president wrote in Friday’s post alongside a video of his speech declaring victory in the 2020 election, alongside his son Barron and Mike Pence.

His page with 34 million followers was suspended shortly after posting, “I ask everyone on the US Capitol to stay peaceful. No violence! Remember WE are the Party of Law and Order – obey the law and our great men and women in blue. THANKS! ‘

His first post since posting in 2021 came just hours after his YouTube channel was restored and the day Meta laid off another 100,000 employees in widespread tech layoffs.

Trump was suspended from most social media platforms following the January 6, 2021 Capitol riot.

He now has Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and YouTube at his disposal and can reach millions during his presidential run.

Meta, owner of Facebook, announced on January 25 that Trump would be allowed to return if he followed the rules.

Although he was reinstated on Twitter, he did not post and instead opted to use Truth Social.

In a post on his favorite social media site on Thursday, he said the United States, not Russia or China, was the “greatest threat to Western civilization.”

YouTube initially dumped Trump over fears he would incite violence.

At first he was only suspended for seven days, then it was extended to two years.

For his most recent videos, Trump often uploaded them to Rumble.

The last video uploaded to his YouTube channel was a 46-minute speech from the White House claiming the election was rigged.

Titled “This may be the most important speech I’ve ever given,” it refused to concede defeat to Joe Biden and described the ongoing legal battle to try to overturn the vote.

“For months before the presidential election, we were warned that we should not declare victory premature,” Trump said. “We were repeatedly told that it would take weeks, if not months, to determine the winner, count the mail-in ballots and verify the returns.”
