Jes Staley will face a two-day discussion next week over his ties to disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein.
The former Barclays and JP Morgan boss is accused of withholding key information about Epstein’s sex trafficking operation.

He will be questioned on Thursday and Friday by lawyers for JP Morgan, who accused him of “intentional and scandalous conduct” for concealing key information about the late pedophile.
The US bank is being sued by the government of the US Virgin Islands, where Epstein owned an island, for claiming to have turned a blind eye to Epstein’s operation.
But JP Morgan sued Staley, saying he should be “solely liable” for any damages that should be paid because he failed in his duty of care as a senior executive. JP Morgan accuses Staley, 66, of breach of fiduciary duty, among other claims.
Staley, who resigned as Barclays boss in 2021, has denied any involvement in Epstein’s alleged crimes. JP Morgan was asked to comment.
