A new report has revealed that Rep. Lauren Boebert’s son called 911 to report that his father was getting physical with him and that the Colorado Republican was living apart from her husband for six months before filing for divorce.
One of Boebert’s four sons told the 911 dispatcher that his father, Jayson Boebert, was “pushing him into the house” during an argument on Dec. 11, according to records obtained by Insider.
During the 6.46pm call, the teenager is said to have been ‘sobbing’ and ‘out of breath’ as he told the operator that his father was ‘throwing me all over the place’. The dispatcher asked the teen if Jayson got physical with him. – Yeah, he was throwing me, said the boy.
“He called me a psychopath, when he is the…”, he added before stopping.
Boebert filed for divorce from her husband of 20 years earlier this month.

The dispatcher told the teenager he would send an officer to the house and that he had nothing to worry about and asked if there were any weapons in the house.
“I mean there are guns in the house yeah, but I don’t think he would use them against me,” the sobbing son replied. “He does this to me so much.”
He then informed the dispatcher that he was heading to his mother’s residence – a farmhouse adjacent to the Boebert family home.
“I’m in the driveway, but my mum stays on the farm because there are issues with them,” the teenager said. “I go where he can’t reach me.
The boy hung up, but called back five minutes later to deny his earlier account that his father had turned physical.
“All I meant was me and my dad were starting to scream, he hadn’t really gotten physical with me,” the teenager told the same dispatcher, as Boebert picked up the phone.
“Hi, I’m the mom,” she said.
‘All right. There was an argument over dinner. I understand that you need to come talk to them. I’m at our second location with [our son] getting ready for an event,” she said.
“Just so you know I have it,” she told the dispatcher. “His father is at home.
The dispatcher informed Boebert that they were dispatching officers to see if the boy needed help.
“He doesn’t need any help,” he said. “But yes, they can come here.”
When the police showed up, Jayson told them he had a verbal argument. Jayson said he didn’t hurt him but “maybe the door hit his butt on the way out.”
Jayson said he argued with his son and told the boy to get down to where his mother was staying to ‘calm down’.
The boy then told the officer ‘he first started yelling at his dad and his dad wasn’t physical’.
The teenager “said he wasn’t sure why he said his father hurt him, but he was upset,” according to the police diary.
Jayson told Insider that before Boebert ran for Congress, the family spent a lot of time together when he wasn’t at his job in the oil industry.
Now that Boebert is gone “to serve his country,” he said, “every teenager will want to test the bull,” he said. “We overcame that.”
Earlier this month, DailyMail.com reported that Mike Estep, who served Jayson with Boebert’s divorce papers, said Jayson became “extremely angry” and threw their dogs at him when Estep walked away. is featured at their home in Silt, Colorado.
Estep said Jayson was at home cleaning his gun and drinking a beer when he showed up.
Estep said: “Jayson opened the door and I said ‘are you Jayson Boebert’ to which he said ‘it’s me.’ you’. I could see that he was drinking a large glass of beer and cleaning a weapon that was lying on a table.
“Once he found out he was getting marriage dissolution papers, he was extremely angry. I tried to give him the documents but [he] didn’t take them. He started yelling and using profanity and told me I was trespassing and he was calling the sheriff’s office. I told him I was leaving the documents on the chair in front of the door, he closed the door and then let the dogs out.
Boebert, 36, cited ‘irreconcilable differences’ as the reason for filing for divorce from her 18-year-old husband and said in a bizarre statement that she had ‘always been faithful’.
In an exclusive text message to DailyMail.com, her devastated husband Jayson said: ‘I’m torn over this very sad thing. A horrible moment in my life.
I love her too much to speak ill of her. She is the mother of my children and my partner for 20 years. Please just leave me some peace.
A hearing has been set for May 31 in Mesa County Court in Grand Junction, Colorado.
In her statement, the second-year MP said, “It is with a heavy weight on my heart that I have filed for divorce from my husband.” I am grateful for our years of marriage together and for our beautiful children, all of whom deserve privacy and love as we go through this process.

“I have always been faithful in my marriage and I am a firm believer in marriage, which makes this announcement all the more difficult.”
The couple married in 2005 and share four boys together. They met at Burger King when she was 16 and he was 22 – she worked there and Jayson, who worked on an oil rig, stopped in for lunch.
Boebert also made an offer for a temporary order granting primary custody of the couple’s sons, Tyler, 18, Brody, 15, Kaydon, 13, and Roman, 10, as well as child and spousal support.
The December incident wasn’t the first time police have been called to the Boebert residence – two neighbors called the cops on Jayson and reported he was running over a mailbox and ‘probably loaded [drunk]’ in August 2022.
“That’s Lauren Boebert’s husband jack ***,” a neighbor said.
“The stories reported on the process server, and even Jayson running on a mailbox, are a complete lie,” Boebert wrote on Twitter after the divorce papers report.
“Jayson, a man I’ve spent half my life with, didn’t sign up to be in the limelight, and he certainly didn’t agree to be falsely accused of things he didn’t do.”
