Lauren Goodger took to Instagram on Thursday to share an update on her grief, after tragically losing her newborn daughter Lorena in July due to birth complications.
Throwing out the funeral flower arrangements, the former TOWIE star shared that she was taking the process “one step at a time”.
The TV personality, 35, shared a photo of the flowers as she described the process as “the hardest time of my life”.

The broadcast featured white floral letters transformed into Lorena’s name and a collection of pink clusters.
Sharing a photo with her 895,000 followers, Lauren explained, “I just threw my baby girl’s flowers this morning.
“Kept them all and the outside ones in my backyard the whole time…one step at a time❤️,” wrote Lauren – who is also mother to 13-month-old Larose.
Continuing in detail with the struggle of being a single parent and coping with grief, she continued, “Hardest time of my life and grief alone being just strong for my Larose.”

Lorena was born with two knots in her umbilical cord, tied around her neck and despite ten doctors fighting to save her, she died shortly after birth.

In addition to the tragic loss of her second daughter, Lauren was allegedly assaulted on the day of her baby’s funeral. Charles, 25, was later arrested and released on bail following the incident.
She also went through a ‘horrific whirlwind’ over the deaths of Lorena and her ex-boyfriend Jake McLean – who lost their lives when her car plunged 70ft off a cliff in Turkey in July.
Last month Lauren wrote a moving post about her grief and said she plans to one day write a book about the tragedy to help others who may be dealing with the loss of a child.
“I just want to say thank you everyone for the support, I’m broken,” Lauren wrote on her Instagram Stories at the time.
“One day I will write my second book and tell my story to everything I went through when I was old. And hopefully it can be someone’s survival guide.
