The incident happened yesterday morning around 6:15 a.m.
Two of the operators were injured and were sent to hospital for treatment.

A CAT machine working on the left side of the bridge was plunged into the middle of the collapse.
Another machine on the right side of the bridge dived forward before rolling sideways.
The other CAT machine working on the right side of the bridge was thrown center and sideways and was hidden in a cloud of dust.

Only one of the machines could be safely removed from the bridge, the other three were left until further notice.
Police this morning arrested a construction official responsible for the site after officers opened an investigation into the incident.
The images, which were posted on Twitter, show the foundations under the structure collapsing after the machines broke through the concrete bridge.
Only two people, who are wearing hi-vis jackets and hard hats, can be seen on site watching the work unfold.
One site worker luckily escaped the crash of his life as they stood very close to the collapse.
The background and circumstances of the incident are under investigation.
