Ron DeSantis praised his wife Casey as he presented his manifesto for Florida and an overview of his likely 2024 presidential campaign during his State of the State Address.
The governor of Florida has promised to ensure that his state remains the “no”. 1′ in the United States and attacked President Biden in his speech to the Florida legislature.
He was addressing lawmakers as they entered their next session and Republicans introduced a bill banning abortion after six weeks.
The Republican touted economic growth, low unemployment and a budget surplus and pushed promises to involve parents more in education and to crack down on illegal immigration.

“Florida is No. 1, and by working together, we will ensure that Florida remains the No. 1 state in the United States,” he told lawmakers on Tuesday.
“Working together, we have overcome great challenges and led the nation on many great issues. We don’t make excuses. We are not complaining. We just produce results.”
He criticized Biden for his “catch and release policies” on the border and promised to “put Floridians first.”
Casey DeSantis drew the biggest ovation when her husband celebrated his work in ‘Florida’s battle against cancer’ – after battling breast cancer.
‘We will stay strong. We will hold the line. We will not back down. And I can promise you this: you haven’t seen anything yet, he said.
