‘One Night in Bangkok’ singer Murray Head, 76, is hospitalized after crashing into a truck while returning home to France
- Murray Head was driving in the south of France around 3pm on Monday when it crashed
- The singer and actor lost control of his car on a bend and ended up in the oncoming lane
- He was hit by a mixer truck and rushed to hospital in the nearby town of Pau.
Murray Head, the singer best known for hitting One Night in Bangkok, was rushed to hospital after his car crashed into a truck in France.
Head, 76, was driving near the town of Pau, in the southern region of the Pyrenees, at around 3pm on Monday when the crash happened.
Head – who also starred in films including Sunday Bloody Sunday – lost control of his car on a bend and hit an oncoming mixer truck, French media reported.
Fortunately, he survived the accident with only minor injuries and was able to give an interview from his hospital bed.
I was going in the north-south direction and then I found myself in the other direction, ”he tells La République de Pyrénées.
“Was I dazzled by the sun? I do not know. I hadn’t drunk anything, I have muscle pain. It hurts. I was incredibly lucky.
