Tot Gear: THREE-year-old son takes his father’s £1.6million Ferrari, a motorcycle racer, to 211mph for a spin on a race track

A three-year-old took his father’s 211mph Ferrari, a motorcycle racer, worth £1.6million, for a spin around the race track.

Zayn Sofuoglu – the son of former Turkish professional motorcycle racer Kenan Sofuoglu – is barely tall enough to see over the steering wheel.

And if there weren’t a specially adapted child seat, he wouldn’t be able to reach the pedals of the Ferrari SF90 Stradale, which sprints from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.5 seconds.

Even with a price tag of up to £1.65 million ($2 million), there’s still a waiting list for wealthy drivers to get their hands on one.

But racing ace Sofuoglu, 38, – now a Turkish MP – clearly didn’t hesitate to give his machine a prize to his son.

In video footage from the track outing, Zayn is seen walking towards the Ferrari in his racing suit before donning his custom helmet.

As he slips behind the wheel, he revs the engine before pulling away from the starting line.

And as he puts the Ferrari through its paces, cameras inside the car show Zayn shifting gears as he tackles the bends and straights of the track.

The sequence ends with Zayn getting out of the supercar and clapping his father’s hands.

And the source of his talent comes as no surprise, with dad Kenan holding no less than five World Supersport (WorldSSP) championship titles in motorcycling.

Kenan also participated in a race of three supercars, a superbike, a Formula 1 car, a private jet and a fighter jet, which competed at a technology festival in Istanbul in 2018.
