Vicky Pattison has slammed people on social media who she says were disrespectful of Queen Elizabeth II’s death.

The TV personality, 34, shared a lengthy post on Instagram where she said the monarch “deserves our respect” following his passing at the age of 96.

Vicky shared snaps of King Charles III and his mother and said many will now feel “frightened and anxious” about what lies ahead.

She wrote, “I’m just gonna leave this here because I feel like over the past two days some people on social media have forgotten how to behave.”

“You may not be British, or royalist, or particularly patriotic… But before the Queen was absolutely anything else, she was a mother, grandmother and great-grandmother… and I can’t believe people aren’t.” think she deserves our respect.

“And besides, whatever your feelings about Charles, whatever they are – he’s still a man who lost his mother and not only is he expected to take on the most important in his life, but also that he fits into his massive shoes. .. all less than a year after the loss of his father ??

“Queen Elizabeth is all most of us have ever known, and I don’t think any of us are really aware of that, in a world that has brought us so much uncertainty and chaos, his stoic resilience and unwavering bravery provided us with something constant and it brought us comfort. – now that she’s gone, we feel scared and worried about what lies ahead – for the Commonwealth, Britain and all that she made people believe in.

The former Geordie Shore star encouraged people to “throw their respect” behind Charles as he assumes the throne.

She wrote: ‘Instead of letting this fear grow, cast your respect and faith behind this man – who, despite the loss of his mother yesterday, got up and did his job today and uttered a passionate and sensitive discourse today.

‘Because I haven’t done anything so difficult or impressive in my life and left me thinking: have the people criticizing it??!

‘Above all grow. Keep your feelings dignified and respectful. These people are human beings and regardless of their status, they deserve your condolences and kindness at this time.

“And as far as I’m concerned… Long live the King.”

All of Her Majesty’s children had rushed to Balmoral on Thursday after doctors became ‘worried’ for her health. A few hours later, she passed away, surrounded by her family.

There will also be a celebration of her historic 70-year reign which saw her reach her platinum jubilee this year – a landmark unlikely to be reached again by a British monarch.

Charles, the King, said: “The death of my beloved mother, Her Majesty the Queen, is a time of the greatest sadness for me and all members of my family.

“We deeply mourn the passing of a cherished sovereign and a much-loved mother. I know her loss will be deeply felt throughout the country, the Kingdoms and the Commonwealth, and by countless people across the world.

“During this time of grief and change, my family and I will be comforted and supported by our knowledge of the respect and deep affection in which the Queen was so widely held.”
